Each 4.5lb bag of cold-pressed dog food contains 12 cups of wholesome nutrition. All our food is packaged in this size which was thoughtfully chosen to ensure optimal freshness and reflects our commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
When transitioning your pet to a new food, we recommend a gradual introduction of the new formula over a 7 day period. For pets with sensitivities, extend the transition period to 10 to 14 days. Start by adding a small amount of your pet’s new food to his or her current food. Gradually, increase the new food amount and decrease the current food amount at each feeding until you are feeding only the new food.
Free standard shipping is provided on all food orders and should arrive within 2-7 business days after processing. We also offer expedited shipping options for an additional fee. Shipments are fulfilled Monday - Friday and we strive to ship orders no later than the following business day. Occasionally due to unforeseen circumstances the initial subscription shipment may go out a day or two later. All orders placed on Saturday and Sunday will be processed on the following business day. When transitioning to a new dog food, you want to do it slowly — over the period of 7-10 days to give your dog’s gut time to adjust, as it is common for them to experience some digestive discomfort during that period as they adjust to the new food. To help your dog get started with our cold-pressed food, you will get a daily feeding guide with your first order.
Every batch of our dog food is made by us in our family-owned facility in Ogden, Utah and tested prior to shipping to ensure it is free of harmful bacteria, so you don’t need to worry about feeding it to your dog.
Nextrition comes in a resealable bag placed within its own box. We recommend keeping the food stored in its original bag in a cool, dry and dark place and away from heat and direct sunlight.
